At J.E. Evans Construction, we guide you through every step of your project, from the initial site visit to 3D walk-throughs, material and design selections, and pricing estimates. We ensure you remain involved and informed throughout the entire process, guaranteeing a seamless experience from start to finish.

Site Evaluation and Home Placement
We will meet you on the site of your lot or a lot you are considering purchasing to evaluate its pros and cons. Our team will provide insights on the optimal placement and orientation of your new home while discussing your desired style and any restrictions specific to the property.

Custom Home Design
Once the lot is selected, we can guide you in planning site ideas and help find a suitable architect, or we can offer to design the one-of-a-kind home of your dreams. After the design phase, you’ll have the opportunity to view your home in 3D and take a virtual walk-through before construction begins.

Specifications and Material Selection
Next, we will meet to develop a detailed list of specifications and materials for your home. This includes selections for flooring, windows, doors, roofing, exterior finishes, and more. These choices will significantly impact the final cost and your overall satisfaction. And remember, you haven’t spent any money with us at this point.

Transparent Contracting Process
We offer two contracting options. For most homes, we provide a “contract price” that reflects the total cost of the build. This price includes all expenses, with no hidden fees or surprises after signing. You can rest easy knowing this is the final figure you will pay for your new home.
Continuing Progress and Supervision
Once the contract is in place, our goal is to ensure that progress is made every day until your home is complete. We will provide you with a detailed schedule of operations and are available to meet on-site whenever you need us. One of our team members will be present on the job site daily to personally supervise all aspects of construction.
COST PLUS
Cost Plus Contract
For some of our more complex builds, we may utilize a “cost plus” contract. In this arrangement, we provide a detailed estimate of all costs involved and add a percentage or flat fee for our services. This type of contract is ideal for homes featuring unique designs and materials, allowing clients to maintain maximum control over the build process.
